Our Vision
Most charities focus on "cash" donations. However, non cash gifts are 200 times the size of a donor’s largest cash gift. Only 5% of America’s wealth is in cash, while 95% is in assets like securities and property.
After 4 decades of Charitable Gift and Estate Planning, and now retired, I can help these organizations: 1. Identify their most viable non cash giving prospects. 2. institute proven strategies to promote, explain and facilitate these gifts, 3. provide ongoing staff training , 4 promptly respond to all inquiries about non cash philanthropy.
Our Expertise
I have over 40 years experience in Charitable Gift and Estate Planning. After many years in the life and health insurance arena, and earning the designation of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), God moved me from Philadelphia, PA to Oakbrook Terrace, IL to begin a new venture at the Director of Legacy Planning for the North American Baptist Conference.
Five years later, God directed my path to Laguna Hills, CA as Vice President of Estate Planning for Saddleback Memorial Medical Center.
Ten years later I was asked to head up the Gift and Estate Planning program for the 15 hospital St. Joseph Health System. After 28 years, and most recently at Providence Mission Hospital. I retired in March, 2022.
I quickly realized many worthy charitable organizations were NOT encouraging their friends to consider the benefits of "non-cash" giving (donating appreciated assets, IRA's, life income arrangements and legacies). Understandably, these organizations often lack the staff to guide legacy and estate planning.
My experience and their need create an amiable, viable and valuable relationship.
